This is a family owned restaurant, originally founded in 2001 in Greensboro but relocated
to our hometown of Advance, NC. Our mission is to have a fun family friendly Authentic Mexican Restaurant that supports local
churches and schools, to us it is important to give back to the community that patronizes us creating a stronger healthier
community. Come join the Fiesta with us!
About Chilo: Chilo is the owner/operator of Chilo's
Authentic Mexican Restaurant as well as the Kitchen Manager and Head Chef. He has over 30 years of Experience as a Chef and
was the Head Chef of the very first Authentic Mexican Restaurant in the Triad Area. He first came to Atlanta GA at the early
age of 17 years old starting off in the kitchen as Chef #3 and worked his way up to Chef #1 by age 19 yrs old, one year after
that he was also the Kitchen Manager. In 1989 he came up to Winston-Salem with Jesus Ruiz, the owner of the famous Mi Pueblo
chain and began the first of many restaurants. He was Kitchen Manager/Head Chef opening and training new chefs for 7 of the
11 restaurants of that chain. He decided to open his first restaurant in 2001 and succeeded with a very prosperous Restaurant
in Greensboro, NC. Due severe problems with an unscrupulous minor partner and his scheming wife we decided
to remove ourselves and relocate. It was a trying period of our life but God is Good and He provided the answer to our
prayer which was to be able to relocate to our own homeplace of Advance, NC and for this we are eternally grateful to God, also
happy to be amoung some of the nicest folks on this planet! This restaurant will be run with the help of Chilo's family (
Sandi, Maggi, Crystal, Isidro Jr, Stephen and possibly on occasion Tim), also brothers, sisters, cousins and nephews
plus a couple of best friends...a true family establishment!

We are the Norman and Aguero Family, Chilo and Sandi (The Founder's of Chilo's Mexican Restaurant) and
thier children Billy Norman(went to Heaven Oct. 13th 2001 during the opening of this restaurant), Timothy Norman, Maguali
Aguero, Crystal Aguero, Isidro Aguero Jr., Stephen Aguero-Cheek. We have more extended family and friends that helps
us run this restaurant come visit us to get to know us and become part of the Chilo's Fiesta!
